AC Re-installation

Best for: Setting up the unit at the new location for peak performance.

• Bracket Removal: Taking down the indoor mounting plate and the outdoor L-brackets.

• Mounting & Drilling: Re-fixing the plates and drilling a 3-inch hole (with a slight downward slope) for the pipes and drain.

• Piping & Insulation: Connecting the copper tubes. If the new distance is longer, new copper piping will be added and brazed (welded) together.

• Vacuuming (Essential): Using a vacuum pump to remove air and moisture from the lines. This prevents “non-condensable” from damaging the compressor.

• Gas Release & Charging: Releasing the stored gas into the lines and checking for leaks at the joint points using soap solution or an electronic leak detector.

Note:  • Gas charging amount  separate, If gas leaked during move or release.
